Open Drone Platform, Expanding More Possibilities
Time: 2025-11-14Reading Volume: 7

In recent years, drones have flown into industries such as inspection, emergency response, urban maintenance, and surveying. Featuring efficiency, safety, and intelligence,They are reshaping traditional operations and playing a vital role in low-altitude work and infrastructure projects.

As drones push into new industry frontiers, industry demands are becoming increasingly diverse, precise, and tailored, with each task requiring specific payloads, control systems, and load capacities. To meet these needs, EFT has introduced open-architecture industrial drone platforms, featuring a standardized, versatile, and rugged design that provides flexible and scalable solutions across a wide range of applications.

Light-Load Platforms: Ideal for Urban and Infrastructure Operations

Drones are widely used in inspections and infrastructure maintenance.

In Malacca, Malaysia, drones have been used to inspect the roofs and towers of historic mosques (Kampung Kling and Tengkera), identifying 13 structural defects—including cracks, vegetation growth, and paint aging—through image analysis. Compared with traditional scaffold inspections, drone-based inspections not only increase efficiency but also significantly reduce the risks.

For high-frequency light-load tasks, the EFT X950 features multiple mounting points and supports 0–6 kg payloads, carrying cameras, spotlights, or cleaning equipment for urban operations.

Heavy-Lift Platforms: Unlocking Transport and Delivery Scenarios

In the heavy-lift transport sector, drones are creating entirely new opportunities.

On September 15, 2025, the first nationwide heavy-lift drone logistics flight was completed from Zhoushan to Dongji Island, Zhejiang. The drone covered 51.4 km in level-6 takeoff winds and level-8 in-flight winds, safely transporting over 100 kg of cargo and demonstrating the feasibility of long-distance heavy-lift drone logistics.

In the mountainous regions of Xichou, Yunnan, drones transported 180 tons of construction materials for solar tower construction in just three days, reducing the project timeline by over 90% and significantly cutting labor and time costs.

For heavy-lift applications, EFT has introduced the X2300 platform, featuring a high-strength truss frame, co-axial dual rotors, and dual-battery systems, with a maximum payload of 100 kg. Its 3-in-1 design meets the diverse needs of industries such as hoisting, firefighting, and transport.

Additionally, for payloads ranging from 10 to 20 kg, EFT’s classic EP series frames offer high stability and expandability, easily supporting cameras, thermal imagers, LiDAR, and other equipment for coordinated multi-device operations.

EFT open drone platform offers reliable support for customized drone demands. We hope to work with more drone innovators to explore drone applications in different industries ,and maximize drones potential in transport, inspection, monitoring, and beyond, together pioneering a new era for the low-altitude economy.
